Updating Blog Roll

Hi, dear readers,

I want to call  your attention to InvestingforOne’s Blog Roll. This list contains URLs for some of the Websites I visit on a more or less regular basis. Some of them require a fee, but I pay it gladly because the information the sites provide is valuable to me.

Warning: some of the sites do not post very often. As long as there is a post for 2015, I’ve left it on the list.

I do recommend that you quickly scroll through the list from time to time to see what these bloggers are up to. They are funny and smart, talented and tough. Everything we would like to be.

Seeking Alpha is the Drudge of the financial sector – no commentary, just links.

New on the rolls today is Dividend.com, which requires a modest fee, but posts every day, so far. As the name indicates, it is all about dividend investing. As long time readers of IFO know, I, too, am all about dividend investing.

Stock Gumshoe also requires a fee, but has been a source of endless entertainment and education this year.

What a comfort, when the market is going down, to realize that your income is stable, or even rising, when you have invested in good, solid, long-time dividend paying stocks. Dividend.com lists tons and tons of these. An embarrassment of riches/choices.

Not for us the high-flying tech stock, the mostly-unknown commodity stock. After six years of investing as one (person), we’re happy with the results.

Tomorrow, we’ll talk about a stock we are looking at for our next buy. We won’t tell you who it is until five days after we buy it, if we do.

About InvestingforOne

I've been investing in various assets by myself using a discount broker for many years. Over that time, I've developed some theories that others might find useful. Plus, there is more to investing than money. Time, talent, work, friends, family all go into developing a good and satisfactory strategy.
