What a great day this is turning out to be. First, IFO walked all the way to the grocery store for the first time. Only took about 1/2 hour one way. She can surely lop off a few minutes as time goes by. Problem is, she keeps stopping to look at stuff.
Like the arborists, who were taking down a huge tree. Their chainsaws were blasting through the huge trunk for ages. When they stopped, she asked if they were local. Upon hearing that they were, she asked whether they did little jobs. Again a Yes, so she asked for a business card and called the company right after she checked out their website.
So, she’ll get more yard work done soon. Tree stump removal and large dead branch of a tree in the front yard. How easy everything is.
Just as she returned home, her mail carrier appeared with a package from Jessica London which contained her red new hooded raincoat. It matches her car! And comes down to her ankles. Can you say Little Red Riding Hood?
How did she make such a find? She saw a woman wearing one at the Newport Performing Arts Center on the day the Met Live in HD opera, “Eugene Onegin,” was playing there. IFO asked her where she got it and the rest is history.
So, we say, “Let the rains begin!” (again – there was record rainfall this September, but almost nothing this October, so far. But there’s plenty of time.)
