This is probably old news to people paying attention to financial institutions, like banks.
But we just got our post card back from the US Postal Service. That’s the card that is part of the Registered Mail Service, which records when a mailing has been received by the addressee. In this case, it was our Income Tax Return, mailed to the Internal Revenue Service w/check. [No, we’ll never get a refund again, if we can possibly help it.]
Know who signed the card??? Well, no one actually. No human anyway, even though the card requires signature and printed name of recipient.
However, there was a stamp, with red ink (!), by the “Agent For
Internal Revenue Service” … BANK OF AMERICA !!!
Regarding the logos – coincidence? You decide!
