IFO has no idea what is going on in the stock market these days except that the one thing world leaders absolutely had to do was get it back up. Markets around the world were swooning with nervousness over not just the possibility of Greece defaulting on its debt, but about the domino effect such a default could have on the other markets, other countries… PANICKKKK!!!
So, the European Union leaders have attempted to cobble another bailout together. The U.S. market cheered. Oh, also, some tiny glimmers of hope showed up, though not all are believed by all observers since the glimmers are mostly government statistics. However, housing, unemployment, company revenues (sales) and profits all seemed to be a teeeny bit better. So, YAAYYYY!!!
Meanwhile, IFO has gotten and filed a fairly large number of assignments. All were fun to do. IFO learned much about horses and their accoutrements. She also got to do another cover story on seniors in politics for another client. FUUUNNNNNN!!!
She thinks she has harvested everything from her garden and has frozen the last batch of tomato sauce. A couple of freezing nights have finished off most of the produce. Her grapes didn’t do a thing, but she has, as she has bragged before, nearly a freezerful of her ownblueberries. Her garage is finished. She’s found a person to mow her lawn. All is well.
Finally, a number of people have given her unsolicited compliments: she looks young! she looks happy! (true) Has she lost weight? Uhhhh, next question!
Anyway, we’re ready for winter now.
