The conferences didn’t lend themselves to pix, since it was just people standing and talking, or people eating and talking. What they had to say, however, was definitely worth hearing.
We’ll start with the pix – all related to travel. Below are two items that moved us deeply. Mining is a tough, tough profession. The statue and plaque below encapsulate the Nevada that most of us don’t know. There is also irrigated farming and cattle ranching.
Next is the picture of the entire metal sculpture, which is prominently displayed next to the Tonopah NV post office. The nobility and strenght and tragedy of this event is fully captured here. Does this break your heart, or what?
