SWI and MPI reports

According to today’s currency market, it would now cost 58.9415 U.S. dollars. An improvement in the value of the dollar! Yay! Okay, it’s not a big improvement, but still…
Last week, my Swiss watch, which cost $50 one year ago, was “worth” 59.3895 U.S. dollars.

IOW, if IFO had gone to Switzerland and bought the same Swatch watch, which still costs 50.00 Swiss francs, it would have cost 59+. Petroleum prices are dropping, too. We hope that’s a good sign.

Meanwhile, our Model Portfolio is still deeply in the red, but the decline has not been as fast as it was earlier this month.
